Teaching

I was brought up with a dad who was passionate about education and something in his enthusiasm has rubbed off in how I view teaching.

I really enjoy the challenge of being able to present material that appears unreachable for students and see the transformation and that all important 'eureka' moment when the concepts finally lock into place.

Back in Melbourne now, I am taking on some part time teaching in primary schools which is a wonderful experience!

That, combined with either running workshops at festivals, longer and more intensive music camps or one on one teaching, sharing of knowledge is one of the great things in my musical life.
