Two things have shaped my attitude and approach to recorded music. Firstly I had an obsessive audiophile for a father who pursued and maintained truly excellent quality hi-fi and encouraged music to be attentively listened to - as an experience in and of itself.
Secondly, I was lucky to have the Tasmanian Pro Tools rep as my music teacher in high school and started using this system regularly from about 1993.
High quality audio means a lot to me as the first thing I think is lost as quality is degraded, is the immediacy of connection between the listener and the recording artist.
My current discography can be found here and has examples of my work thus far. For information about session work, production or engineering please visit the Studio Work page.
